Murry Sill is a Miami-based independent photographer specializing in people, interiors/architecture and watersports. He shoots primarily in the Southeast U.S. and the Caribbean for various companies, design studios and publications.
A photojournalist by training, Sill moved to Miami in the 1970s to work as a staff photographer for The Miami Herald, a career that took him to all corners of the globe documenting revolutions, riots and refugees. In the late 1980s, Sill made the switch from photojournalism to commercial, corporate, editorial and stock photography.
Sill has won numerous photography awards and was awarded a National Endowment for the Humanities Fellowship for Journalists.
